Supernova Trial Series #5: Miyu Amasaki vs. AZM
This was exactly what you would expect from a match between wrestlers known for their dexterity and light-footedness. AZM took control in the first half, adopting a punishing style with heavy kicks and trash talking, as if showing her junior Miyu Amasaki the harsh realities of the ring. It was a different side of AZM that I hadn't seen before. However, Miyu fought back and gained ground, eventually reaching an even footing. Miyu's later-stage big moves were the highlight of the match, as she pulled off several impressive new techniques. Her execution and expressions were spot-on. I think she's gradually becoming a well-rounded pro-wrestler. But perhaps it will take a bigger more discernible change to convince people. ***3/4
