Suzume's first singles title challenge, against her admired senior, Rika Tatsumi. The height difference between them was striking, with Tatsumi towering over Suzume. However, Suzume cleverly employed smart shortcuts and effective ropework to cope. Despite her limited physical strength becoming apparent during some moments of the match, especially in her aerial moves that lacked grace and impact, she managed to convey a compelling sense of struggle throughout. ***1/2
8. Princess of Princess Championship: Mizuki (c) vs. Sawyer Wreck
Mizuki skillfully adjusted her fighting style to match Sawyer Wreck's specifications in one of her most unique and captivating performances to date. Despite Sawyer's attempts to drag Mizuki into hardcore territory with folding chairs and an unusually dangerous powerbomb for TJPW, Mizuki fought back with purity and restraint, preventing the match from descending into chaos. She even managed to perform a Cutie Special on the 188cm opponent, which Sawyer took beautifully. Sawyer's inclination to take big bumps despite her size really underscored the overall brilliance of the match. The face and heel roles were well defined, and even though the result was obvious, it was more about the journey; it was like a Hulk Hogan filler defense. ****
