SEAdLINNNG Beyond the Sea Tag Team Championship: ASUKA & Makoto (c) vs. Riko Kaiju & Ayame Sasamura
Riko Kaiju, SEAd's only rookie and the youngest member of its four-man roster, feels like the promotion's last hope. Especially as the only active domestic member with Arisa Nakajima and Yoshiko currently out with injuries. This was a Las Egos intra-unit match, but they fought with an intensity that would make you think they were long-time enemies. Makoto & ASUKA resembled LCO (Atsuko Mita & Mima Shimoda) with their superior size, wild brawling and chair use. And Kaiju & Sasamura were a pair of unsized, brave faces fighting a blood-covered uphill battle; the sense of triumph whenever they made small offensive breakthroughs really sold the struggle. The match lasted almost 30 minutes but was entertaining to the very end. ****1/4
