5. Blue Stars: MIRAI vs. Mina Shirakawa
Strong style in its truest form. A combination of martial arts standing techniques and ground work. MIRAI and Shirakawa have both really honed their styles of fighting in this tournament, especially Shirakawa. They were eager to best the other on the ground, aiming for limbs, gradually building up to bigger moves. Their adherence to subtlety made this one of the most unique matches of the tournament, and emotionally it felt like a fulfilling match for both of them, who share history from their time in TJPW. ****
8. Blue Stars: Natsupoi vs. Starlight Kid
This was another great match between Kid and Natsupoi. It didn't reach the heights of their Korakuen Hall main event this year, but it was still very good. Recent story developments and new additions to their movesets gave the matchup fresh material to work with. ****
