6. Goddesses of Stardom Championship: Natsupoi & Saori Anou (c) vs. Suzu Suzuki & Mei Seira
Nothing short of spectacular. The high-speed pace of action and wide array of techniques, from precision kicks and suplexes to high-flying and double teams. It felt like an old-school Zenjo tag team match, packed with movement and ingenuity, but without the excessive bridging kickouts. Well-timed pin breakups added to a heated third act. I read somewhere that tag matches epitomize "joshi puroresu" as they allow wrestlers to spotlight each other's strengths and this match truly embodied that philosophy. ****1/4
8. NJPW STRONG Women's Championship: Giulia (c) vs. Risa Sera
In the words of Shinsuke Nakamura, "What's wrong with fighting the past!" Giulia's fight against her former promotion continues with Risa Sera. This maintained a steady pace throughout, delivering heavy hits and dramatic bumps to a satisfactory degree. It may not have had the elements to reach a high level, but it was commensurate with the scale of the event. The post-match segment was the real star of the show. ****
