Sendai Girls World Championship: ASUKA (c) vs. Mika Iwata
I don't understand why some people called this a sprint match. It being relatively short =/= sprint. It was slow paced until the very end. In fact, I think the match should have been longer because of the way the early stages were paced. It felt like it was over just as things were getting good. In terms of individual performance, ASUKA seemed to be leagues ahead of Iwata in striking power, physical strength, emotional expression, and skill, even though they have the same level of experience. In this match, I felt that the belt was still out of Iwata's reach. **
