Princess of Princess Championship: Mizuki (c) vs. Nao Kakuta
Mizuki and Nao Kakuta were trained by Takako Inoue and Yumiko Hotta respectively, making this perhaps the most traditional TJPW main event in history. Their shared Zenjo roots symbolized through hair whips. Mizuki's austere technical skills and Nao Kakuta's rough fighting style made for a kind of Kenshiro-Jagi dynamic. Nao's emotional performance was very well done and it was easy to root for her against Mizuki, who performed like an absolute champion. Nao exhausted her moveset and became rather patterned, which made it easy for Mizuki to counter. While Nao didn't quite step up her game in terms of moveset, she gave an emotional performance worthy of a main event. ****
