Ibuki Hoshi vs. Kaho Matsushita
Tense and affecting match between these two young aces of Ice Ribbon. This felt like the antithesis of happy pro-wrestling. I'm not sure what the source of their animosity is, but I think it's healthy as a wrestling organization to sometimes let the wrestlers vent their frustrations with each other in the ring - through the fighting art and emotional expression that is pro-wrestling. This was a heavy, ugly match with some rather unflinching displays of violence, including some of the hardest face slaps I've ever heard. ****1/4
