WAVE Tag Team Championship: SAKI & Hikari Shimizu (c) vs. Sakura Hirota & Haruka Umesaki
A well-balanced blend of classic and comedic wrestling. Sakura Hirota's gags, which can be excessive at times, were effectively utilized. There was an unprecedented level of creativity in the setup of "kancho" attacks. I have never seen such a broad spectrum of attacks targeting the opponent's ass. And it was delivered in such a way that it never interrupted the flow of the action. Haruka Umesaki participated in several comedic spots and showed a refreshingly different side of herself. SAKI and Hikari's reign as tag team champions remains a standout aspect of WAVE. ***1/2
