Natsumi Sumiwaka (formerly Natsumi Showzuki of Stardom) has grown up from a youthful idol wrestler into a seasoned mature woman! Her focus on kicks, knees, and joint techniques like the waki-gatame give her a compelling hybrid style. Mari's championship composure and resilience were incredible - it truly felt like an uphill battle for Natsumi. While neither boast the most compelling personality, the dramatic moments, near-falls, and counters were well paced and kept the tension high. Always enjoy a stiff low kick battle. As a longtime Stardom fan, it was thrilling to see Natsumi finally capture her first singles title! ****
